If you have a previous version of the Productivity Tools, uninstall that version before installing the new version.

Before installing Webex Productivity Tools, ensure that your computer meets the following minimum system requirements: 
You must have administrator privileges for your computer.
Refer to the Webex Meetings Suite system requirements for supported operating systems, browsers, and other minimum system requirements (WBS39). 
1Log in to your Webex site. 
2Select the Webex Meetings tab. 
3In the left navigation bar, under Support, select Download. 
4On the Webex Meetings Downloads page under Productivity Tools, make sure Mac is selected, and then select Download. 
5Save the cwptools.dmg installation file to your computer. 
6Open the cwptools.dmg file, and then open the Webex Productivity tools.pkg file that appears. 
7When prompted, enter your email address, password, and Webex site URL. 

The Network-Based Recorder available on Webex for Mac allows users to capture screen activity along with audio on a Webex Meeting Center recording server. After making the selection the server processes the data recorded, then sends the recording file to your personal recording folder on your Webex.

Set Up Webex Productivity Tools To set up Webex Productivity Tools or to verify your settings, open the Preferences dialog box, using one of the following options:

Meetings: 'Meet Now' settings: Select Edit to go to your My Webex > Preferences page of your Webex site and edit your 'Meet Now' settings. The My Webex tab of your Webex site appears. For more information, see Edit Your Webex Preferences. 
Audio: Verify your Audio PIN and your audio account information. For example, you may have one or more Webex Personal Conference Number accounts or you may have another teleconference account. If you need to make changes to your audio preferences, select Preferences > Audio and Video on your Webex site.

In the upcoming October (40.10) update, all-new recordings in Webex Meetings will be stored in MP4 format, either in the cloud or locally as selected at the site or host level, with a video-centric experience. By standardizing the recording format, you'll have a wider choice of playback tools, better security, and a more effortless collaboration experience even after your meetings. Existing ARF and WRF recordings can still be downloaded or played at the Webex site. Webex Recording Player For MacThere are standalone players for both Windows and Mac for WRF. To download the WRF player from the Webex site you will need to have a host account on the site.
Webex Player Mac 64 BitFollow the steps below to download the standalone WRF player:
Webex App For DesktopLog in to your Webex Web site. (Example: https://SITENAME.Webex.com)
Select a service type on the top toolbar. (Webex Meetings, Webex Training, or Webex Events)
Click on Support, then choose Downloads.
In the Recorders and Playerssection click the Recording and Playback page link.
If a host would like to provide links to download the players for their attendees, have them use the steps above. After performing the steps above, right-click on the link for the needed player, then choose Copy Shortcut or Copy Link Location. This link can then be pasted onto a web page or sent via email to attendees. Using this method doesn't require the attendees to login to download the players.
